Strategic Plan
To make affordable and accessible, region specific GCP training available to clinical research personnel in South Africa and Africa.
To provide up to date training of the highest standards.
To establish a South African/ African GCP network – to be able to provide follow-up support to delegates who have attended the GCP courses, to disseminate new information to course delegates (in progress).
To set up collaborations with organisations with similar training mission objectives.
To be involved in SAQA accreditation of investigators, study coordinators and clinical research associates –through collaboration with interested parties.
Development of e-learning program – new and continued education.
Through these strategic efforts, AGCP aims at being first choice clinical research training provider.
Current Achievements
AGCP is an accredited training provider with ETDP SETA. Accreditation Number: ETDP10292 (expiry 2Sep2013)
Development of e-learning program
Continued successful implementation GCP course sessions (average delegate rating of courses has been 4 out of 5).
Sponsorship of delegate training by AGCP – at least 1-2 delegates are 25-100% sponsored by AGCP for each course.
Training request for 160 delegates in Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon, Uganda).
Financial
All bookkeeping activities are done by an independent accounting firm: Ratio Management.
Surplus funds are used as follows: marketing and advertising activity, course development costs, development of training tools, training and AGCP business development.
